The invention relates to a wire hose clamp having a wire loop whose one wire end is anchored in a screw bearing and whose other wire end, which is constructed as a hook, is passed through a hole in the screw bearing and can be hooked into a blind hole at the base end of the clamping screw. The clamping screw is adjustable in a threaded hole in the screw bearing. The screw bearing has two suspension holes, which are spaced apart from one another, for the detachably anchored end of the wire loop, so that this anchoring end can alternatively be suspended in the one suspension hole or the other, for right-hand and/or left-hand spiral hoses.
