Herbicide safener combinations consisting of A) an effective amount of a compound of the formula (1) or a salt thereof, in which R1 is phenyl which i s unsubstituted or substituted, R2 is (Ci-C6)alkyl, (C3-C6)cycloalkyl or pheny l, each of the 3 last-mentioned radicals is unsubstituted or substituted, R3 is hydrogen or a hydrocarbon radical having 1 to 18 C-atoms which is unsubstituted or substituted, and B) a herbicide selected form the group consisting of and florasulam, cloransulam, dicamba, diflufenzopyr; triclopyr , fluroxypyr, metribuzin, carfentrazone-ethyl, S-metolachlor, dimethenamid, dimethenamid-P or flufenacet and mixtures of the above herbicides, optionall y in combination with other herbicidal active ingredients can be used for effective selective cotrolling weeds in crop such as maize.
