PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for automatically controlling a system are provided to improve the automation efficiency of the system by generating an alarm signal when a difference between a predetermined signal value and a present signal value is greater than a predetermined value set by an operator. CONSTITUTION: A time signal generator(200) generates an elapsed time within a period of a predetermined time. A storing unit(204) stores continuously values to be driven within a time period. A comparing unit(206) compares an alarm time outputted from the time signal generator(200) with a signal value inputted as a time period interval stored in the storing unit(204) and a preset setting value. An alarm processing unit(208) processes an alarm when a difference between a value of the outputted signal obtained in the comparing unit(206) and the setting value is greater than a predetermined approval value. A control unit(210) generates an output signal so as to perform a predetermined preset control function by inputting the signal outputted from the comparing unit(206).
