A deflection yoke device comprising a deflection yoke (3) for deflecting an electron beam emitted from an electron gun in a color CRT in horizontal and vertical directions, coma correction coils (18a, 18b) oppositely disposed on the electron gun side of the deflection yoke so as to sandwich the electron beam, and a pair of cores (17a, 17b) around which coma correction coils are wound, wherein the device further comprises a slide mechanism (19) that allows respective coma correction coils to slide with respect to respective cores, thereby making it possible to correct misconvergence with a simple structure without sacrificing coma correction coil sensitivity.
