The cooling process for housings, rotors, blander and/or burners of turbines involves heating demineralised water outside or inside the component to near boiling point, taking it into channels below the surface where it is vaporized and to some extent overheated, spraying it into the combustion chamber or the blade channels. The superheating of the water is measured and is used as a regulating parameter for the mass flow of the water.
