A bottle battery (1) has two bottles linked via a pressure pipe and filled with air under high pressure at 200 bar. Valves (2) open or close the bottles. One bottle connects to a filling tube (3) for high pressure. The other bottle connects to a pressure reducer (5) via flexible pressure tubing. At the output, the pressure reducer uses a low-pressure line (7) linked in series into an open/close valve (6) to discharge into a throttle flap (8) linked to a vehicle engine air filter.
