摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus for calibrating a vibration number of a yaw-rate sensor is provided to improve the sensibility to an angular velocity by calibrating the difference of a vibration number between a normal vibration and a Coriolis vibration. CONSTITUTION: A normal vibration number detecting unit(20) detects a normal vibration number in case that an oscillating body(13) oscillates with a normal vibration. A Coriolis vibration number detecting unit(21) detects a Coriolis vibration number in case that the oscillating body(13) oscillates with a Coriolis vibration. A comparison operating unit(22) compares the Coriolis vibration number detected by the Coriolis vibration number detecting unit(21) with the normal vibration number detected by the normal vibration number detecting unit(20) to calculate a vibration number difference therebetween and calculates a difference between an elastic modulus at which the oscillating body(13) oscillates with the normal vibration in right and left directions and an elastic modulus at which the oscillating body(13) oscillates with the Coriolis vibration in up and down directions. An AC(Alternating Current) supplying unit(23) applies a current voltage of a sine wave to detecting electrodes(15',16').
