<p>The present invention relates to a caller identification display service method and apparatus for providing caller identification and additional information like an advertisement or an official announcement on a recipient's telephone. According to the present invention the method of displaying the caller identification and the additional information on the recipient's telephone comprises the steps of receiving a call request from a caller's telephone terminal, extracting the additional information corresponding to the caller identification from a database in response to the call request, and transmitting a paging signal comprising the additional information and the caller identification to the recipient's telephone terminal, wherein the additional information and the caller identification are displayed on the recipient's telephone terminal.</p> |
