CALL INTERCEPT SYSTEM AND METHOD

A call intercept method is disclosed. The method includes receiving a call intercept request from a delivery function using a first protocol layer common to a plurality of packet data networks. The method also includes collecting call intercept information specific to a particular packet data network technology in response to the call intercept request and delivering to the delivery function call intercept information using the first protocol layer.
