A baby pushchair comprises a carriage cot (2) that is mounted on a chassis (3). The two are attached in such a way that removal from one another can be affected easily. A handle on the cot (6) pivots at the joint and forms the handle of the pushchair. The chassis is designed such that in can be folded to reduce stowage space. A baby cot (2) is attached to a chassis (3) to form a pushchair. The attachment comprises a housing (41) that receives a round fitting (15,16). The chassis comprises two sets of legs (20,21) that include the wheels (23). The legs are configured such the one axle base is shorter than the other so that the legs can be folded within one another.
