<p>PURPOSE:A resin resistor, obtained by adjusting the interaction between polar groups on the surface of carbon black and a thermoplastic resin using graphite and the carbon black as an electrically conductive filler and having precisely controlled volume resistivity. CONSTITUTION:A resin resistor, obtained by adjusting the amount of (B) a thermoplastic resin, e.g. polyamide or polyester, etc., to be blended depending on the content of oxygen in (D) carbon black, e.g. furnace black or Ketjenblack, etc., to satisfy the formula [a is the content of oxygen (wt%) in the component (D); b is the amount of the blended component (D); c is the mol content (%) of a polar monomer in the component (B); d is the amount (wt%) of the blended component (B)] within the ranges of the respective amounts of the components as follows; 40-90wt% (A) thermoplastic nonpolar resin, e.g. polyolefin or polystyrene based resin, etc., 0.5-30wt% (B) thermoplastic resin, 5-30wt% (C) graphite and 1-20wt% (D) carbon black and kneading and molding the resultant composition and having 10<6>-10<13>OMEGA.cm volume resistivity.</p> |
