发明名称 METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REMOVING OXYGEN IN NITROGEN GAS
摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to keep a specified allowable level of oxygen concentration in nitrogen gas supplied to a vulcanization apparatus, by providing a specified mechanism controlling the quantity and on/off operation, of supplying hydrogen added to nitrogen gas. CONSTITUTION:A controller 19 receiving both output signals of a calculator 6 and a flowmeter 9 is set on a flow quantity controlling valve 11, the degree of opening of which is controlled in such a way that the concentrations of oxygen and hydrogen in nitrogen gas after removing oxygen come to allowable remaining concentrations of oxygen and hydrogen 20, 21 set in advance. The quantities of oxygen and hydrogen in the nitrogen gas after removing oxygen can be thereby accurately controlled at an optional allowable concentration. As the pressure drop in a gas holder 17 accompanying the supply of nitrogen gas into a vulcanization apparatus 18 is detected by setting a pressure switch 22 on the gas holder 17 and a pressure elevating device 16 is started and a controlling valve 10 is closed after a specified delayed time through a delayed timer 23. The pressure elevating device 16 can be automatively started and stopped in coincidence with the vulcanization sequence and the shortage oxygen due to the shortage of hydrogen added during off-period of the pressure elevating device 16 can be dissolved.
