The invention relates to a drive device for a domestic appliance, in which an electromotor is fixed (10) by means of a fixing screw (12). An insulation layer (24) consisting of a material with a defined conductivity is located between the fixing screw (12) and the electromotor (10). The fixing screw (12) is tightened with a defined torque, in such a way that due to the resultant defined contact pressure, a defined resistance for discharging electrostatic charges from the electromotor is obtained. This simultaneously ensures the suppression of leakage currents.
