A wall mirror is mounted in a frame [14] and has a mirrored glass panel [22]. A fined area of the glass is free of mirror coating [26] and functions as a flat surface display. This is coupled to electronic modules behind the mirror that process inputs from such as a video or DVD player. Loudspeakers [42] are built into the mirror.
