The message accessing method allows a first message, e.g. a multi-media message, transmitted via a mobile radio system and/or the internet, to be manipulated, called back or altered, by transmission of a second message. The second message can be used as a replacement for the first message. Also included are Independent claims for the following: (a) a telecommunications device for message accessing; (b) a network element for a radio communications system providing a messaging service; (c) a software program for a telecommunications device for messaging accessing.
