<p>1. Process for the production of sugar crystals from sugar juices consisting in feeding a continuously operating apparatus for crystallisation by vacuum evaporation (10) with a magma made up of syrup and crystals, in introducing the juice to be processed into this apparatus at points spaced out from the inlet to the outlet of the latter, in withdrawing from this apparatus a massecuite which is subjected to centrifugation to separate the crystals from the mother liquor, and in refining the separated crystals by mixing them with a syrup of a higher quality than that of the said mother liquor and by centrifuging this mixture to separate the refined crystals from the affination runoff, characterized by the fact that the said magma consists of a mixture of the said affination runoff and of crystals from the dust collector (24) of a sugar drying installation.</p> |
