PURPOSE:To attain communication between a master station and a specific slave station with no recognition required for address of the slave station, by providing a gate corresponding in 1:1 to each slave station to each of the input/output signal lines branched by a single input/output-only LSI set within the master station. CONSTITUTION:A single input/output-only LSI 111 is provided in a master station 11. The gates 114b and 114c corresponding in 1:1 to slave stations 12a, 12b and 12c are provided to the input/output signal lines 112a, 112b and 112c which are branched by the LSI 111. In case the station 11 sends data to the station 12a, the gate 114a corresponding to the station 12a is opened prior to transmission of data to send data to the line 112a through the LSI 111. When data are sent to the station 11 from a slave station, the corresponding gate is kept open for communication of data.
