PURPOSE:To effectively use a counter area by declaring the number of counters, which count the number of times of execution, properly in accordance with tuning object programs. CONSTITUTION:In the first program unit, for example, fifty counters are built in the divisions of individual blocks. In the second program unit, minimum value '1' is designated as the number of counters similarly. Each time a counter is built in actually, the quantity of generated counters is counted. In the last program unit, the quantity of generated counters is taken into consideration when the counters are declared. When an edited source program 18 edited in this manner is complied by a compilation executing part 19 and is coupled and edited and is executed, information of the number of times of execution passage of the block is obtained in each counter CNT of a common area.
