PURPOSE:To assure a mechanical accuracy and maintain a high accuracy in a measurement by directly driving a rotor to which reaction pipes are mounted. CONSTITUTION:A reaction pipe (a) is mounted to the circumference of a rotor 1, a ring gear 30 coaxial with a rotating shaft 2 is fixedly mounted to the rotor 1 and the rotating shaft 2 is provided with a driving gear 31 meshing with the ring gear 30. Stators 7 and 8 are rotatably arranged adjacent to the rotor 1 on both sides thereof and fixedly mounted to the rotating shaft 2 by using keys or the like. The rotor 1 is not fixedly mounted to the rotating shaft 2 but united therewith by the pressing force between the stators 7 and 8 and the rotor 1 whereby a torque is transmitted. When, as a stator locking mechanism is pushed in the grooves of stopper pieces 35 and 36 to lock the stators 7 and 8, the driving shaft 32 is rotated through an accurate rotating angle, a driving force is transmitted only to the rotor 1. When the rotor 1 is rotated by one step in this condition, the connections of specimen solution, reagent, washing and the like are changed over to the next reaction pipe via communicating paths 5, 9, 11 and 12.
