A hose coupling is described which includes an element (20) connectable into a hose at one end and extending therefrom. A ball at an opposite end of the element (20) enables articulatable coupling of the hose end to a connector (38) in a ball joint. A further kink prevention mechanism (62, 64, 74) can be connected to the element (20).
