An apparatus with which an aqueous solution, non-aqueous solution, solid, gel, etc. are activated to thereby enable, e.g., inhibition of oxidation. The apparatus comprises a means for holding an active substance, a means for holding a substance to be activated, and a guide which leads the two holding means so as to come into contact with each other.
