PURPOSE:To reduce the number of key switches for remote control by transmitting a remote control signal based on a display data selected out of data for remote control displayed on a picture display part in a television reception circuit. CONSTITUTION:The remote control signal corresponding to a selected display data is transmitted. For example, when a remote control key 5 is depressed one time, an input side in a switching circuit 15 is switched from one side 14 to the other side 30 with a switching signal from a CPU20, and the output side of a picture processing part 27 in a remote control reception circuit 3 is coupled to a picture display part 13 through the input side 30 on the other side of the switching circuit 15. Also, a TV display lamp 34 is illuminated with an illumination signal from a CPU20, and furthermore, a TV display data is read out from a TV display data memory part 31 in a ROM21 with a display control signal from the CPU20, and it is sent out to the picture display part 13 through the picture processing part 27, and the switching circuit 15. Thereby, the picture display part 13 displays the TV display data. By moving a cursor 37 with operations of cursor keys 22-25 looking at the TV display data, a prescribed channel can be selected. |
