The invention concerns a peeling method and the method for making a preparation for implementing said method. The inventive peeling method is characterised in that it consists in inserting, in the thickness of the horny layer of the epidermis, elements between 5 and 100 microns long approximately and having a tapered shape and sufficient rigidity to penetrate into said horny layer. Said peeling method enables to enhance skin tone complexion, smooth the skin surface by eliminating fine lines, attenuate pigmentary spots and localised hyperkeratosis and reduce the size of skin pores by regulating seborrhea.
