PURPOSE: A disk brake is provided to prevent uneven wear of an inner pad and frictional noise, and to extend the life span by restricting damage of a boot with modifying the shield installed between a pad plate and the end of a piston. CONSTITUTION: A disk shield(800) is installed between the end of a piston(200) and an inner pad plate(500) to prevent braking heat from being transmitted to the piston. An assembling part(810) of the shield is elastically combined with the end of the piston, and bent by cutting outward from the center. An opening part(820) is formed in the shield not to contact to the end of the piston in the opposite in moving a disk(700) forward. A boot(120) is restricted from being damaged with minimizing heat transfer to the piston by restricting the clearance in the edge of the shield. Uneven wear and frictional noise are reduced with contacting the side of the disk to the inner pad evenly by applying little pressure to the opposite side of the forward direction of the disk.
