SINGLE NOZZLE DAM OF VAPOR GENERATOR IN NUCLEAR POWER PLANT

PURPOSE: A single nozzle dam of a vapor generator in a nuclear power plant is provided to minimize damages due to radioactivity by installing signal nozzle dams at an inlet nozzle and an outlet nozzle of the vapor generator, respectively. CONSTITUTION: A nuclear reactor container is located in a center of a nuclear power plant. A plurality of vapor generators is installed at both sides of the nuclear reactor container. A single nozzle dam(220) of the vapor generator is used for operating a coolant of the nuclear reactor under a low water level in order to check a state of the vapor generator. In addition, the single nozzle dam(220) of the vapor generator is used for intercepting a path connected to the vapor generator. An inlet nozzle(230) of the vapor generator is 11 inches and an outlet nozzle of the vapor generator is 7.8 inches.
