A solar powered device (10) having two reflective members (24) pivotally mounted to a solar cell (20) by resiliently biased hinges (26). The resiliently biased hinges 26 comprise an indexing mechanism which indexes the reflective members (24) to a plurality of predefined positions relative to the solar cell (20). Solar powered device (10) further comprises a battery mounting region between the pivotal mounting of a reflective member such that rechargeable batteries may be connected to the solar powered device (10). Once connected to solar powered device (10) the rechargeable batteries may be recharged by the power output of the device. |
