Circular saw consists of movable drive ring fitted in ball guides movably secured on inner fixed ring. Fixed ring is secured on saw body by means of draw bolts and side sheets. Saw body has segment recess where drive mechanism is fitted; drive mechanism consists of two shafts on which two drive taper rollers are secured in pairs symmetrically relative to drive ring. Saw body consists of stack of sheets connected immovably. Inner surfaces of two side sheets have slots for connecting the central cooling liquid supply pipe union with peripheral nozzles. Inner diameter of drive ring slightly exceeds outer diameter of circle bending around guide balls, thus making it possible to mount maximum number of balls and consequently reducing the unit load on drive ring and on guides.
