PURPOSE: An accelerating apparatus for a kick board is provided to increase traveling speed by installing an accelerator in a rear wheel of the kick board without driving many times by a foot. CONSTITUTION: A kick board is composed of a handle member having a handle in the upper part, a front wheel connected to the handle member for rotating, a board(60) combined with the handle member to put a foot on, and a rear wheel(50) installed in the rear part of the board. An accelerating device of the kick board consists of a footboard(10a) turned up and down in the rear part of the board, a power train unit transmitting rotational force to the rear wheel by turning the footboard, and an elastic member(20) connected to the footboard in the upper part of the board to return the footboard. Speed is increased, and the kick board is traveled conveniently without driving many times by the foot with installing the accelerator in the rear wheel.
