PURPOSE: An apparatus for fixing a deflection yoke for cathode ray tube is provided to fix a horizontal deflection coil and a vertical deflection coil to a funnel without disturbing deflection of electron beam. CONSTITUTION: A fixing portion of a deflection yoke is formed with an inner fixing portion(71) and an aperture fixing portion(73). The inner fixing portion(71) is an inner surface an inner surface of a neck part of a funnel in order to fix positions of a neck part of a horizontal deflection coil(31), a neck part of a vertical deflection coil(33), and a shield cup part of an electron gun(4). The aperture fixing portion(73) is fixed to the funnel(5) by using a welding method. The horizontal deflection coil(31) and the vertical deflection coil(33) are assembled with the inner fixing portion(71). The aperture portions of the horizontal deflection coil(31) and the vertical deflection coil(33) are fixed by the aperture fixing portion(73).
