PURPOSE: A panel for cathode ray tube is provided to maintain a contrast and improve bright uniformity by forming a coating layer for controlling a transmittance on an outer surface and an inner surface of a panel glass for cathode ray tube. CONSTITUTION: A panel glass is formed with an outer coating portion(11a), an outer plane panel glass(2a), and an inner coating portion(12a). A transmittance of the outer coating portion(11a) is changed according to the transmittance of the outer plane panel glass(2a). The transmittance of the inner coating portion(12a) is changed according to the transmittance of the outer coating portion(11a) and the transmittance of the outer plane panel glass(2a). The outer coating portion(11a) has an anti-reflection function and an anti-static function. The outer coating portion(11a) is formed by a spin method or a spray method. The inner coating portion(12a) is formed with a green coating layer and a blue coating layer.
