The assembly includes outer rail 6 fixed to a desk, intermediate rail 7 carried on sliding bearing 91 for movement in and out of the inner rail and inner rail 8 fixed to a drawer and carried on sliding bearing 92 for movement in and out of the intermediate rail. Stop member 5 on the intermediate rail limits forward movement of the inner relative to the intermediate rail by engagement of block 51 with fixed plate 4 on the inner rail. The stop member has two rear retaining frames (55 Fig 6), 56 for holding down bearing 92 when disconnecting the inner from the intermediate rail, these frames each having an upright retaining wall 552,562, with a raised portion (5521),5621 which engages a corresponding recess (9251),9261 on the bearing side walls (925 Fig 10),926, which are spaced from the side walls of the intermediate rails by a gap (Fig 10) enabling the walls of the retaining frames to be forced outwards to minimise friction resistance during loading of the inner rail onto the intermediate rail. Figures 11-16 show a functionally similar structure for use with a track having no intermediate rail. |
