PURPOSE:To maintain the temp. of a work surface layer temporarily at about the same temp. as an adhesive agent temp. so that the viscosity control of the adhesive agent is facilitated, by providing a hot air injection port integrally to an adhesive agent coating nozzle which coats a slight amt. of the adhesive agent continuously. CONSTITUTION:A glass substrate (work) 10 is vacuum-attracted and fixed to a base 11 and the adhesive agent 16 is charged into the adhesive agent coating nozzle 12. A turner 13 and a guide 14 are adjusted to maintain the contact spacing between the top end of the coating nozzle 12 and the substrate 10. An air pressure 20 is then applied to the adhesive agent in the adhesive agent coating nozzle 12 to coat the adhesive agent from the nozzle part. The temp. of the adhesive agent 16 is simultaneously kept constant by a temp. adjusting coil 15 and the nozzle 12 is moved in a direction shown by 19 so that the adhesive agent 16 is successively coated to the specified width and specified height. Hot air 18 is injected from the hot air injection port 17 provided to the nozzle end of the adhesive agent coating nozzle 12 to the substrate 10. The surface layer of the substrate 10 is thus heated, by which the viscosity control of the adhesive agent 10 is facilitated.
