PURPOSE: A 7-segment inverse display device using a backlight LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to improve the power of discrimination in a light place by showing corresponding inverse patterns by light transmission while keeping a background area in an opaque state always. CONSTITUTION: A 7-segment inverse display device using a backlight LCD includes an LCD panel(30) formed with inverse patterns(32) composed of 7-segment to be converted to a transparent state or an opaque state by the power supply and a background area(34) kept in the opaque state constantly, a backlight(40) mounted on a rear surface of the LCD panel for transmitting light via inverse patterns kept transparently among the inverse patterns, and a data processing part(50) for controlling corresponding inverse patterns of the LCD to be converted to the opaque state according to an input control cord and outputting lighting signals to light the backlight. |
