PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a write one type optical information recording medium which is capable of realizing a high-sensitivity optical recording in a blue light region and also dealing with record regenerating wavelengths of 400 to 500 nm, especially 400 to 450 nm. SOLUTION: This optical recording medium has a recording layer which records information by generating a change in reflectance due to the emission of a recording light. In addition, the recording layer contains a tetraazaporphyin compound, for example, which is centered around silicon with a specific substituting group as represented by formula (3). Formula (3) includes an isomer characterized by a t-butyl group and an isomer characterized by the substituting position of -OSiR2R3R4 and -Y. In formula (3), R2 to R4 are independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or an unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or an unsubstituted alkylalkoxy group and a substituted or an unsubstituted aryl group; and Y is a substituted or an unsubstituted alkyl group or a substituted or an unsubstituted aryl group. |
