PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously casting equipment capable of solving the discrepancy that the clearance between a side face and a side sluice becomes large thereby causing the penetration or leakage of a molten metal bringing about the difficulty in conducting continuous operation. SOLUTION: The twin drum type continuously casting equipment is provided with a distance detection sensor for measuring the moving amount in the axial direction of a main shaft end face or a drum side face for rotating a drum which continuously casts plates with prescribed thickness by pouring a molten metal between casting drums whose rotation faces opposed to each other, and disposed with a prescribed distance, a main bearing position moving mechanism for moving the driving side main bearing position in the shaft center direction in order to correct the moving amount of the main shaft side end face or the drum side face to eliminate the relative displacement of the drums, and a control device for controlling the main shaft bearing position moving mechanism for making a zero-clearance without the penetration nor leakage of the molten metal caused by growing of the clearance due to the relative displacement between the drums calculated by the difference in the moving amount of the drums.
