PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travelling type tea field tending machine in which running bodies are rotatably connected to a connection main frame and which can simply be turned even in a narrow butt without damaging a tea ridge and can, if necessary, maintain the tea field by a remote control operation. SOLUTION: This running type tea field tending machine comprising a running machine frame for running, and a maintenance machine frame for maintaining a tea field is characterized in that the travelling machine frame comprises right and left running bodies for running on the tea ridges, a connection main body frame for connecting the right and left running bodies to each other and for supporting the tending machine frame, and lock mechanisms for rotatably connecting the travelling bodies to the connection main body frame, respectively.
