PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a mode door from disengaging at assembling, facilitate a lever assembling work, simplify an assembly tool even when the tool is used, and dispense with further parts for temporary fixing, at assembling the mode door of a ventilating passage changeover device for such as changeover of inside and outside air, controlling of temperature adjusting, and changeover of blow opening, by providing a disengaging prevention part to the mode door. SOLUTION: In this ventilating passage changeover device of an air conditioner for a vehicle, the mode door with the lever for controlling an air flow inside a case is turnably mounted to the case which forms an air passage, the mode door comprising an elastic seal piece projectedly formed from a peripheral edge of a door body. In this ventilating passage changeover device of the air conditioner for the vehicle, a cylindrical part is projectedly formed toward the mode door side from a peripheral edge of a bearing of the case supporting a rotating shaft of the lever by making the shaft pass through the bearing, and an annular projection of an elastic member loosely engaged to an outer peripheral side of the cylindrical part is provided to an outer peripheral part of the rotating shaft at the lever side of the mode door.
