SOLUTION: In this cargo handling device, a crab bed is equipped on a traveling and moving portal base, and a spreader 11 is supported so as to elevate by a crane device equipped with the crab bed through a plurality of elevating ropes 8, and a suspending sheave 17 wrapped around with the elevating ropes 8 are provided on the spreader 11 at specified intervals. A plurality of sheave locks 18F, 18R supporting the suspending sheave 17 are detachably provided on the spreader 11 through a coupling mechanism 19, and integrally connected by a coupling beam material 21.
