PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a method for continuously and stably manufacturing a master batch containing a large amount of polyisobutylene for a long time. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the master batch for modifying a resin by continuously melting a polyolefin while continuously transferring the same in a continuous kneader and continuously adding polyisobutylene to the transferred molten polyolefin to continuously knead the same with the polyolefin, the temperature of the kneaded matter of the polyolefin and polyisobutylene in the kneader is held to a temperature range from the melting point (Tm) of the polyolefin to (Tm+50) deg.C.
