PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder for a combine harvester designed to relay threshed waste culms from a waste culm conveyor and surely rake in the waste culms into the binding device. SOLUTION: This binder for a combine harvester has the following construction: an auxiliary rake-in device 9 functioning to relay threshed waste culms conveyed by a relevant conveyor and make a rake-in conveyance of the waste culms is set up on the flank of one side of a binding device 7 for binding such waste culms and above a foot-trimming device for making the feet of waste culms even, and a rake-in device 10 functioning to make a rake-in conveyance of such waste culms is set up under the binding device 7; wherein the front side of the foot-trimming device is so designed that a V-shaped groove on a receiving roller is received on one of the four corners of a quadrangular front frame, while the rear side is so designed that a rectangular support frame is received on a rectangular rear frame.
