PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated material for a paper container, having a sealant layer, which meets both smooth cutting characteristics when a blank is punched out of the laminated material for a paper container and low temperature sealing properties during plate working or during thermal sealing after packing the contents. SOLUTION: In a laminate composed of a paper layer 2 as a base material and a gas barrier layer 4, a plastic film layer 5 and a sealant layer 10 laminated on the paper layer 2 in that order, the sealant layer 10 is constituted of a low density polyethylene resin layer 8 laminated on a mixture resin layer 7 obtained by blending 30 to 5 wt.% low density polyethylene resin and 70 to 95 wt.% straight-chain low density polyethylene resin at the described ratio.
