<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a videogame device enabling a player to compete with an unspecified number of players in a golf game via the Internet. SOLUTION: For the videogame device, a golf game server includes a transmitting means for transmitting an individual information input screen upon receiving the communication of each player to participate in an open tournament; a search means for searching an individual code data file according to the individual code information transmitted; a billing means for billing each player according to the results of the search; a data transmitting means for transmitting golf course data for the date of the open tournament to each player after billing; a storage means for storing a score card transmitted from each player after the end of the game; and a ranking means for ranking the players according to the score cards stored for a predetermined period of time and for announcing the results.</p> |
