<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat capable of lessening the dependency upon the applied load of the vibrating characteristic of a sheet-form supporting member supported by metal springs. SOLUTION: Among metal springs 41-44 supporting the sheet-form supporting member 30, a third metal spring 43 installed in a position supporting near the coccyx of the seat occupant is stretched over so that its engagement part with a frame in the no-load condition is located lower than the engagement part with the sheet-form supporting member 30. Accordingly the sense of foreign matter likely generated by the third spring 43 can be reduced, and in the specified load range, the engagement parts 43a and 43b take approximately horizontal positioning relatively in the static seating condition and do not act functionally, and when the load exceeds the specified range, they work functionally. This allows absorption of the differential load.</p> |
