PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding method for changing a bag form from a flat bag with a gusset to an angular bed bag with the gusset which can form/secure an angular bed part by opening a flat bag with the gusset in an angular shape and fold it in a T-shaped flat state seen from the side of the bag. SOLUTION: The flat bag 1A with the gusset is placed on an angular column- shaped internal mandrel and opened in the shape of an angular cylinder, a bag bottom surface part is pushed and spread outward by the end part of the mandrel in the shape of an angular bed, the bag bottom surface part is sucked by a vacuum box 11 having a suction port divided into sections, and the mandrel 2 is extracted. Next, a triangular surface part 1f in which the ridge line of the bag bottom surface part is the long side of an isosceles right triangle in relation to the bag bottom surface part side parts of right and left side surface parts is secured, the triangular part is folded to overlap the bag bottom surface part 1e, each bag bottom surface part side part 1g of a front surface part 1a and a rear surface part 1b is folded to overlap the bag bottom surface part 1e, and the residual right and left side surface parts, the front surface part, and the rear surface part are restored to the original flat state. |
