SYSTEM CHECKING STORAGE MEDIUM FOR GAME FACILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid troubles by reducing the amount of data needed for checking storage media flowing on lines interconnecting game facilities. SOLUTION: Each of the equipments having a reading/writing device capable of reading information retained by the storage media and writing information onto the storage media is provided with a storage medium management means which retains checking information about the storage media. A checking means for checking the information retained by the storage media against the checking information retained by the storage medium management means has a data transfer means by which the checking information created in the data file of the storage medium management means of the equipment issued at the time of issuing of the storage media is transferred to a data file managed by the storage medium management means of the equipment having the reading/writing device loaded with the storage media. Because the storage medium management means provided in the equipment using the storage media retains the checking information about the storage media, the data for checking seldom flows on the line interconnecting the equipments.
