PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge the cleaning force-retaining area after a new adhesive sheet of an adhesive roll has been exposed while keeping the cleaning utensil compact. SOLUTION: A scraping up unit 16 and a contact rotating body 18 are turnably supported while arranging them in parallel in a frame 15. Then, the adhesive roll 21 which is mounted astride the scraping up unit 16 and the contact rotating body 18 is mounted on them for this cleaning utensil 10. Such a cleaning utensil 10 is constituted in such a manner that the adhesive sheet 21A is wound around a core 21B. In this case, the initial outer diameter is set to be 40 mm or smaller.
