PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for cutting a fruit, by which the sizes, tastes and the like of the cut fruit pieces can be uniformized, when the fruit is pickled in a syrup, and further by which the cut fruit pieces can easily be combined with other fruits or the like. SOLUTION: An apple piece 12 divided into an one-fourth size is cut into a plurality of slice-like apple pieces 14 along a core-removed portion. Herein, the apple is cut so that one ends of the slice-like apple pieces 14 are connected to each other in a connection portion 16. The apple piece 12 cut so as to be connected in the connection portion 12 is pickled in a syrup or preserved in a frozen state. |
