PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for reel leg fixation, having excellent handleability, with which a fitting leg part of a reel can be readily fixed and can be prevented from moving in the horizontal direction in use. SOLUTION: This apparatus for reel leg fixation comprises a seat main body 12 on which a fishing reel is mounted is provided with a reel leg placing face 22 for placing a reel fitting leg part 6, a pair of hoods 16 and 18 for holding the fitting leg part are opposingly arranged on the placing face and one of the hoods is formed as a movable hood to be arranged at a fixed position on the reel leg placing face. The apparatus 10 for reel leg fixation is furnished with an elastic member 36 which is installed on the reel leg placing face 22 and elastically urges the fitting leg part 6 when the movable hood 16 fastens the fitting part 6 toward the other hood 18 and the elastic member has a wall part 35 which elastically seizes the side edge part of the fitting leg part 6, controls the movement of the fitting leg part in the horizontal direction and enables the fitting leg part to move in the longer direction.
