The tool holder (1) for a boring and chiselling machine has a location sleeve (2) with an at least partly tapered location opening (2a) and driving strips (4a). The tool (16) has a partly tapered insertion shank (16b) with grooves (16d) for the rotationally locked engagement of the driving strips (4a). Furthermore, the tool (16) is provided with recesses (16c) in which pins (5) of the tool holder (1) engage. An actuating sleeve (12) of the tool holder (1) and the tool (16) have connecting means (12b, 16e) which enable the insertion shank (16b) to be restrained in the location sleeve (2). ……
