PURPOSE: A shock absorber is provided to improve stiffness and durability by modifying a structure, and to tune damping force easily by enlarging the size of a first pressure chamber and a second pressure chamber in the lower part of a piston. CONSTITUTION: A piston(60) is moved up and down in a shock absorber cylinder(10), and a rebound hole is installed in the piston. A sub valve(70) is combined with the lower part of the piston, and a compression hole(71) is mounted in the sub valve. The piston is fixed to a piston rod(80), and an orifice(81) connected to a rebound chamber(40) is mounted in the piston rod. Fluid from the rebound chamber flows through the rebound hole of the piston to a compression chamber(50) in rebounding, and fluid from the compression chamber flows to the rebound chamber through the compression hole of the sub valve and the orifice of the piston rod.
